Announcing Sport-Études at Kells
Joint sports academic program
Attention Athletes! Kells Academy is launching a Sport-Études program for grade 7 and 8 students in the Fall of 2025. This is thanks to the recommendation of Kells parent Joane Siksous, whose son is a competitive soccer player who will be returning to Kells next year to join the inaugural Kells Sport-Études cohort.
Sport-Etudes is a specialized educational program, designed for elite athletes who are pursuing high-performance athletic training while also completing their
academic studies.
Endorsed and recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Education, in partnership with provincial sports federations, the Sport-Etudes program is unique in North America. Our plan is to welcome 25 students each year and offer these selected student-athletes the option to balance rigorous athletic training with their schoolwork, ensuring that they can excel in both areas. Key features of the program will include flexible schedules, personalized support and partnerships with sports organizations.
This new program is yet another way that Kells Academy will empower its student athletes to succeed academically while also pursuing excellence in their sport, thus giving them the foundation to continue both to the next level of competition and higher education.
Opening Doors: Kells Academy Launches New Bursary Program
At Kells Academy, we believe that potential should never be limited by circumstance. Since 1978, we've empowered students from all walks of life to discover their strengths and shape their futures. Now, with the launch of our new bursary program, we’re making a Kells education more accessible than ever.
These financial awards are designed to support families with demonstrated need, helping to offset tuition costs and open doors to new opportunities. Each bursary is awarded on a case-by-case basis, ensuring support reaches those who need it most.
